Family Support is Vital
In many ways, families are integral to the success of the students in the Young Actors Guild.
At a minimum, the students appreciate your transporting them to class and rehearsals on time.
More than that, they are thrilled when you attend their performances.
Parents can provide many other valuable services to the Young Actors Guild in support of the students
and the program. There are countless opportunities to help.
A parent committee leads all the volunteer efforts, and is looking for dedicated people to help in
fund-raising by selling tickets, ads in the program booklets and t-shirts. In addition, parents can
help with set construction and take-down, and backstage with costumes and make-up during performances.
Valuable skills learned in the kitchen can be put to good use by making baked goods for intermissions.
The more support parents are able to provide, the better the chance the students and the Young Actors
Guild will be able to achieve their goals.
If you have some extra time or special skills you think might be of value to the program, please call
